Role:

Project managers are responsible for understanding the project scope and ensuring project effectiveness in meeting the established goals and targets.  They plan, direct, monitor and control projects using the project management discipline.  Project managers ensure project resources are used appropriately.  They work with business and Systems sponsors, vendors and project team members toward achieving intended results by critical dates

Responsibilities:

The ability to consult on Project Management, including to plan, organize, monitor, and control Systems projects for the completion of procedural, infrastructure, and/or software development to meet customer defined requirements or business specifications. This also includes:

To manage cross-functional teams who are responsible for delivering the approved projects on time, within budget, and with world-class quality results.

To lead cross-functional teams that may consist of both Systems and non-Systems professionals and work with the project sponsor to deliver solutions on time and within budget using approved tools, techniques, and methodologies.

To understand and apply the Project Management Book of Knowledge - PMBOK® as expressed by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.

To understand and apply the Agile project management techniques
