Position: Oracle Developer with ETL

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6-9 months

GC/EAD/CITIZEN

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Involved with the development, implementation, and operational support of new business solutions and enhancements to existing applications software, as appropriate.

• Develop, implement and provide operational support of application systems that support one or more business segment components of the IT business systems plan.

• Study, analyze, and define the impact of the user's business needs on the system components and its interfaces to provide maximum benefits from each system.

•50% of the time spent doing Hands-on Coding/Development Work.

• 50% of the time spent working/supporting Datawarehouse and ETL Development/Design.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle (9i or greater) and PL/SQL Development.

• 3+ years of experience with ETL Development (no specific tool required).

• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead, guiding junior developers.

• 2+ years of UNIX Scripting, Perl, SQL 

• Preferred Skills include Toad (or similar tool), Discoverer
