IMMEDIATE NEED:  Denver, CO area has CONTRACT positions for a Senior Software Engineers with experience developing Windows Desktop Applications using C#. NET as well GUI development. You will provide design, support and test of highly integrated software systems and sub-systems. Per Diem available for qualified candidates for this 6-9 month Contract assignment.

Responsibilities

• Will develop and facilitate execution of test plans and provide technical problem solving direction for others.
• Provide expert knowledge of software development, simulation and analysis tools including editors, compilers, linkers, debuggers, code analysers, version control systems, software testing tools, etc
• Will plan and develop complex engineering projects
• Will participate strategic planning and process improvements.

Requirements

• BS Engineering / Science or Computer Science Degree required
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing object-oriented Windows Applications including GUI development
• Prefer 4+ years experience using .NET and C#
• Experience with configuration management, problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Requires experience with several of the following: VS2010, WCF, XML, WinForms, WPF (Windows Presentation Framework), TFS (Team Foundation Server)
• Experience with Agile software development principles and practices preferred
• Experience with any of the following is preferred: unit testing frameworks, object mocking and applying test design patterns
