Project Manager position at Long Beach, CA with an extensive HEALTHCARE background and interacting closely with Business stakeholders outside of IT Organization.

Looking for profiles with strong Project Management experience and experience in working with/managing projects around HEALTHCARE, new Health Plan implementations, Medicare, Medicaid.

Looking for profiles with strong Project Management experience and experience in working with/managing projects around HEALTHCARE, new Health Plan implementations, Medicare, Medicaid.
Candidates should be able to do a Project Management Office - Project Manager role to handle multiple projects at the same time, interact closely with Business stakeholders inside and outside of IT Organization, Interact with Health Plan business stakeholders, handle resources in a matrixed project organization, handle change management processes, vendor management , project budgeting etc.
Project Management
1) Manages all aspects of assigned projects throughout the development project lifecycle including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change.
2) Manages diverse project teams that may include both on-shore and off-shore resources.
3) Provides project estimates, manages project risks, releases planning, and provides quality assurance guidance and quality planning for the project, testing and support of UAT.
4) Defines project charters, project planning, project scoping, and project delivery. Contributes and improves project management methodology and processes.
5) Facilitates and participates in technical/business discussions, requirements gathering sessions/JAD sessions.
6) Develops and maintains detailed project plan to include milestones, tasks, and target/actual dates of completion. Revises project plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
7) Prepare and submit project status reports to management.
8) Manages multiple project budgets.
9) Schedules and conducts project meetings to include logistics, agendas, and meeting minutes.
10) Conducts regularly scheduled project status update meetings.
11) Leads the SOX compliant deliveries and compliance to Molina architectural and PMO standard.
12) Interfaces, when appropriate, with all areas affected by the project to include internal subject matter experts, external corporate departments, and Health Plans, on various projects and manages project communication issues escalation, approvals, and deliverables traceability and project metrics.
