SAS Analyst (Health Care)

Duration: 1 year

Location: Detroit Michigan

Healthcare Analyst:

Knowledge with how to extract and manipulate claims data using SQL,SAS, and ACCESS as well as perform data mapping between a Client and source of data
Four (4) or more years of experience in related field required.
Strong communication skills are required to understand, interpret, and communicate ideas.
Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, etc).
Strong knowledge of medical, surgical, claims, enrollment, membership, pharmaceutical, Medicare and Commercial PPO data
Working knowledge of data languages such as SAS, SQL, and ACCESS.
Strong analytical, organizational, planning and problem solving skills.
Ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels.
Understand and apply statistical inference.
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.

Requirements:
Familiarity with HEDIS
