Role: Windows Systems Admin

Location: Seattle, WA

Position: 2 roles

Duration: 10+ Months

 

Required Skills:

·         Able to run custom scripts/queries against multiple generations of Windows servers and lead efforts to do intensive clean-up of CMDB data based on that data discovery work.

·         Forensic abilities around discovering applications, configurations, what security context apps are using, etc.

·         Ablity to do data mining against the data they have collected and put it into report format, or transpose the data for upload into various electronic repositories and databases.

 

Basic Qualifications:

·         5+ years as a Windows administrator

·         Need to have experience with VMWare technology

·         Must have experience working with current and older HP Proliant Servers.

·         Expertise in general Windows systems administration, web servers, load balancers, Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), storage (EMC, NetApp), network and host security, and relevant protocols (SMTP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, NFS).

·         Experience in installation and monitoring of Application Servers (e.g. Weblogic, Tomcat, Apache)

·         Experience with TCP/IP networking fundamentals.

·         2+ years of experience in fast-paced high-availability production environments with an emphasis on remote "lights-out" management of systems.
