Expectations Include:
Assisting the senior ORBIT developers with the transition from ASP.NET Web Forms to ASP.NET MVC 3,
Providing recommendations on best practices for implementation and migration
Mentoring junior developers on the implementation of ASP.NET MVC technology
Assisting with problem-solving and solution development

Development duties include:
• Web Application Development with ASP.NET MVC 3 and ASP.NET Web Form
• Web Services development with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) including designing Service Interfaces
• Web based User Interfaces (UIs) development in .NET including the use of AJAX, JSON, JQUERY, HTML 5, CSS 3.0 and JavaScript
• Business process automation analysis
• System architecture
• Coordination with business analysts on requirements gathering and use case development
• System design
• System development
• Testing methodology implementation
• Test plan development and execution
• System automation and integration with Microsoft (MS) .NET languages and technologies
• Report development with MS SQL Server Reporting Services
• Tightly coupled development/integration with MS Windows Workflow Foundation 4.0
• Interact with and serve as a key resource in solving problems of high complexity to other analysts and technicians

Required:
1. Proficient with ASP.NET MVC 3, HTML 5, JQuery, and CSS
2. Proficient with MS Visual Studio 2010, MS Visual Studio 2008, MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 including Work Items and Branching integration, MS SQL Server 2008 R2, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, LINQ, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), MS Project and MS Project Server
3. Experience with ORM packages such as Entity Framework (EF4)
4. Ability to recommend methods of resolving problems to lower level analysts or client representatives.

5. Ability to interact and serve as a technical resource to technicians and analysts

Must Possess:
• Strong SQL skills, ideally with hands-on experience developing stored procedures
• Strong skills in Object Oriented programming
• Strong skills and previous experience in understanding business requirements and translating them into technical designs
• Strong unit and system testing skills
• High technical knowledge level of applications systems analysis and programming
• Understand detailed technical issues to design architecture for stable technologies and provide direction for technicians and other analysts
