Position:  Cisco Voice Engineer
Location: PA-Pennsylvania/Allentown

Duration:  6 Months

CISCO UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS 

·      Our client is looking for a Cisco Unified Communications Engineer, to assist with the deployment of a Cisco IP Telephony solution that will provide the backbone for Unified Communications and Collaboration for the corporation.

·      Candidate will need to be familiar with advanced unified communications, networking, wireless, security, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).

COMPETENCIES:

·      Must be organized, thorough and able to effectively manage customers and internal process.

·      Background in Premises Distribution wiring and design.

·      Creative, self-motivated and ability to work with little guidance.

·      Proven experience in planning, designing and deploying multiple initiatives across geographical dispersed locations.

·      Experience in roll-out of new products and services.  Specific experience in implementing large scale IP PBX, or unified communication systems is considered an advantage for this position.

·      Previous experience as a Call Manager a must.  Submitted candidates must have demonstrated experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

·      Expert level experience supporting UC Voice.

·      Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).

·      Strong working knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity, Unity Connection, Unified Contact Center Express, Emergency Responder, SRST, Call Manager Express, and other related products.

·      Background with deployment of UC related technologies such as Jabber or other.

·      Proficient with QoS, LAN/WAN technologies, Voice gateway configurations (MGCP, H323, SIP, SCCP).

·      Excellent verbal and writing skills.

·      Knowledge of voice systems, either TDM or IP based.

·      Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

·      Excellent organizational skills.

·      Effectively utilize each team member to his/her fullest potential.  Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.

·      CCNA Voice or CCDA Required; CCVP Preferred.

EDUCATION:

·      Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field

EXPERIENCE:
A Minimum of 3+ years of combined experience in the field working with IP PBX deployment or Network related deployment.
