Job Description
Work closely with Product Management, to identify product requirements, design solutions
Driving high-level and detailed technical design documents, and active participation in design reviews.
Providing technical guidance and assistance to other software engineers.
Implementation of new features for the client site using Java/C++ and SQL in an Apache/Linux environment.
Maintenance and enhancement of existing features.
Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems.
Participate and become actively involved in team and company wide architecture discussions
Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of relevant web protocols
Commitment to highly available and platform independent software is required
Skill requirement:
C++ Programming, Java Programming, SQL Programming
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is required and MSCS preferred.
8+ yrs of software development experience.
Strong Java/C++ skills are required with demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems.
Working knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS performance tuning and query optimization or other will be a plus.
Solid engineer, deliver high quality code. Require no supervision to get things done. Be able to work with PM to figure out all details required. Be able to question requirements and responsible for the final functions.
Good at communicating with various teams, comfortable to reach out and drive others to get things done
