Job Title: Mobile Architect

Location: Chicago,IL

Duration: 6+Months

Rate: DOE

 

Job Description:

Relevant Experience (Yrs):

8+ as Architect, 3+ as Mobile Architect

 

Technical/Functional Skills :

Should have experience in Mobile Applications, Web Services

Should have knowledge on mobile Security, https, certificates, vulnerability assessment and remediation

A plus to know about securing mobile devices, OS upgrades over wireless, Application updates over wireless

A plus to know about POS and virtualization.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Architected for several huge services based project

Interacted with multiple external teams

Ensure a consistent, successful architecture across the client application, the web application and the back end services by doing POC work, creating architectural overview and decision documents, doing industry analysis, design reviews, code reviews and facilitating cross group collaboration

Work on the service message enhancements to bring them closer to Walgreens and industry standards

Work with the Security, Compliance and Distribution to ensure that they are aware of the changes and that their concerns are addressed

Work with the enterprise teams to ensure that the implementation of mobile POS is consistent with the implementation of other teams (i.e. VOIP phone and inventory)

Work with the PM team to clarify needs and timelines

Work with the vendors to resolve technical issues.
