Role: Sharepoint Architect

Duration: Long Term

Location: SFO CA

Rate: Open 

 

He/She will be the resident expert in building out client's next generation SharePoint portal and supporting SharePoint's expanding role internally.

Initially, they will help with a 2007->2010 SharePoint Upgrade.

 

After that , will be working closely with different business units, gathering detailed requirements and designing and implementing various solutions including, but not limited to:

 

Document Management

Architecting new and existing document libraries to provide a document management solution that allows users to store and find documents quickly and easily.  Understanding of the meta tags associated with the libraries and managing the metadata across the enterprise.

Workflow 

Creating workflow solutions that route documents and data through various business processes.

Administration 

Creating scripts (PowerShell/.Net) to perform various farm-level tasks for administration.  Performing troubleshooting tasks when issues arise.

 

Skills:

Strong Sharepoint 2007, 2010.  Migration experience a plus

Strong .Net development C#, Linq

Medium to strong SQL Server TSQL development

PowerShell a plus

TFS a plus

Strong problem solver and troubleshooter
