Position               :               C++ Developer

Location               :               Chicago, IL

Duration              :               6+ months

Requirements :

 

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and strong interest in writing code of very good quality for large data streaming, processing, and visualization. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment focused on innovation and be able to learn and integrate complementary technologies outside their specific area of expertise.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Maintenance of existing code of a large data processing and visualization framework

 

• Implementation of new features in this framework

 

• Code documentation

 

Requirements

 

• B.S. or M.S. in computer science or related field

 

• Very strong programming skills in C++ and a scripting language like Python

 

• Familiarity with revision control systems like Subversion

 

• Strong math background

 

Desirable:

 

·   experience with Qt and VTK libraries

 

• Ideal: all of the above plus good knowledge of computer graphics and experience with cross platform development
