Position: Oracle (eBS) Payroll Functional Analyst

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (not downtown)

Duration: 18 Months

 

Candidate will be responsible for providing post-deployment functional support for break-fix and enhancements for the Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS) Payroll module, including translating customer enhancement requirements into functional design details, writing and interpreting functional design documents for Oracle add-ons and extensions, interacting with technical developers on issues and enhancement requests, interacting with Oracle Support on software problems, performing analysis and testing for required Oracle Payroll patches and performing application configuration setups.

 

Must have minimum of three years of "hands on" Functional and Business Process Support of the Oracle eBS Payroll module. 

 

Primary Skills Required

Strong Functional and Technical knowledge of Oracle eBS Payroll module including experience with Payroll Fast Formulas

A high level of understanding of the interconnections between the Payroll module and other Oracle eBS modules, particularly Human Resources, Compensation, General Ledger and Accounts Payable

Excellent analytical skills in Oracle eBS applications

Proven experience investigating, researching, recommending and testing Oracle patches

Understanding of Oracle table structure and experience writing SQL against those databases using TOAD software

Familiarity with Workflow Administrator to investigate problems and understand process flows

Strong technical knowledge of XML, XSL, XSLT

Experience using Dataloader software
