Looking for an IT professional specializing in large scale
Enterprise Software Configuration Management Solutions.
This individual should understand the impact(Organization, Resources and Return
on Investment(ROI)), challenges(Organization, Toolset, Platform
differences) and benefits (Governance, Auditability, Productivity,
Geographically distributed development etc.) in implementing unified

This individual will:
Assess current state and corresponding gaps as it relates to:
a) The Enterprise Configuration Management System
1. Configuration Item(CI) classification, discovery and inventory
process.

2. CI Life Cycle Management (Create, Modify, Retire or Replace)
3. Relation between Logical and Physical Configuration Items.
4. A unified CI Change Management system across multiple platforms.
b) Identify and Propose which CI types and level of detail need to be managed and
controlled from the basis of this assessment.

c) Architect an Enterprise wide Configuration Management Data Model.
d) Architect an Enterprise Software Configuration Management
Implementation Model that links logical Configuration Item schema to physical

The model will incorporate
a)SCM Tools (integrated together)
b)Platforms (used to store data or to access them)
c)User interfaces (for both processes and changes)
d)Locations (with geographical distributed development or physical environments)
Develop a Framework(i.e. Process and Tool related procedures)that:
a)Ensures that the CMDB reflects the real-time state of the IT infrastructure (i.e. IT components, including their versions, constituent components and relationships)
b)Audits the CMDB against the infrastructure to measure and report on data integrity and compliance.
c)Resolve CMDB Discrepancies.
d)Integrates with other Service Management Process such as Change and Release Management.
e)Manages the lifecycle ensuring that no CI is added, modified, replaced or removed without appropriate controlling documentation, e.g. an approved Change
request,and an updated specification, etc.

f)Leverage metrics for key performance Indicators (KPI's).
g)Produces and distributes management reports for Configuration Management.
