Job Description        

             Operating System : Solaris 10/9/8 installation, administration & troubleshooting. RHEL 6.2 installation & administration.

 Hardware     

 Sun workgroup level servers including V210, V215, V240, V440,V490, V890

             Sun Midrange servers like Sun Fire 4800, E2900, M4000, M5000 & M3000

             Sun High end servers â€" E10k, Sun 15k/25k

             HP DL360/580

             Sun Storage including 3310, 3510, 6120, StorageTek 6130/6140.

             Tape libraries â€" C4, SL500

 Software       

             Solaris Volume manager

             Sun Cluster 3.x installation, administration & troubleshooting

             VxVM & VxFS 3.x & 4.x installation, administration & troubleshooting

             Sun Enterprise Backup software

             Shell scripting

             Sun JET & Solaris live upgrade

             Solaris crash dump analysis

             Logical Domain & dynamic domain using Oracle Virtualization technology

             VMware

Responsibilities:

- Planning and implementation of new infrastructure

- Planning for holiday readiness

- Plan SAN & NFS storage allocations and storage migrations for new tenants & holiday capacity planning for existing tenants.

- Provide L3 supports for any server related issues in the platform.
