Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Sewickley, PA

10 Months contract

 Primary Job Duties 

• Reviewing Specifications 
• Writing Test Cases 
• Executing Tests 
• Logging Bugs 
• Reproducing Issues 
• Verifying Fixes

• The Quality Assurance Analyst will play an integral role in the growth, maintenance and support of our real-time trading applications.  This role will require strong analytic, technical and communication skills, with light experience of some programming languages and/or scripting languages.  Responsibilities will include the construction and execution of creative, thorough, probing tests for new and exsting features to ensure completeness of implementation;
• Reviewing Specifications, Writing Test Cases, Executing Tests, Logging Defects, Reproducing Issues, Verifying Fixes
• Some programming background, Experience with MS products (Work and Excel), at least one of these:  UNIX/Linux experience, Batch programming/scripting experience, Financial industry experience, Front-end GUI testing experience, Back-end server message-based testing experience 
• Financial services industry experience, Experience with real-time systems, Strong math skills, Customer support experience, Bright and energetic, Very thorough and committed to quality work, Strong interest in learning about financial trading systems
