Very urgent need for Java Developer

Position : Java Developer
Location : Indianapolis, IN
Duration : 6 months

 

Mid-level to Senior software engineer (preferably 5-8 years of experience) needed for API development in a progressive software product environment in Healthcare IT. A custom product API is built in this environment in both C# and Java, and this position will focus on the Java based API product. 

 

REQUIRED:
Strong Java development skills 
Strong understanding of Object Oriented concepts and principles 
Strong relational Database knowledge and experience (from an app developer's perspective. The work will not involve any heavy DB development, and could involve several different DB types, including both Oracle and SQL Server. Looking for fundamental DB understanding like an understanding of table design and query work). 
Understanding and exposure to C# and .NET technologies (Visual Studio, etc.) 
Degree in CS or Engineering is strongly preferred.  
Solid C# skills
