Oracle Functional Consultant for Logistics

 

Location: Columbus, IN 

 

Duration: Long term

 

Minimum experience: 8+ years

 Some travel might be necessary between US and UK as we bring groups together for design workshops.

 

 

Below is the work description / skills required and related information:

 

Support the Business Process and Solution design. These resources will report to the IT Track Leader in each track and will be responsible for the configuration of the Oracle Applications to support the Business Processes that will be designed over the next couple of months, as well as assist the internal resources we bring onto the team to address any skills gaps that may be identified.  We will also be looking for these resources actively to use their knowledge of Oracle application functionality to inform and support the process design discussions.   Attached is a high level list, by process track, of the areas we will need highly experienced resources. 

Based on discussion with each area, here is how we will be breaking down the work detailed above among the tracks.  We will need 8 resources in total, aligned to the following work. 

Forecast to Plan -  We will need 2 resources in this area, one  focused on Demand activities, and one focused on Supply 

 

Procure to Receipt - Since many of these functions are already common across the organization, we will need  only 1 resource in this area, covering Procurement and Supplier Management 

 

Plan to Build - We will need 3 resources for this track,  focused on each of the following areas: Planning, Manufacturing Integration, and Inventory/Costing 

 

Order to Invoicing - 2 resources needed here: One focused on Order Management, the other focused on LWT (Logistics, Warehouse, Transportation)
