Job Description:
Building industry vertical solutions for desktop and mobile devices that connect information to work. These solutions and applications span unstructured content, business processes and collaboration for enterprise businesses which can be composed, deployed and run in cloud/hosted environments. This platform utilizes the VMware Spring application framework and Eclipse.
Client is making significant investments in virtualization, public cloud infrastructure and application composition tools leveraging open standards and utilizing the latest developments in Spring and VMware technologies. IIG products are best known for its advanced authorization models deployed in the most demanding secure environments. IIG has a strong customer base of 3000+ enterprise customers and is growing.

The division is seeking an experienced software engineer interested in a career in the desktop and mobile application composition platform space. The candidate must be willing to relocate to the Bay Area.

Job responsibilities:
• Design and development of an application builder, UI composition frameworks and mobile applications to enable development of Enterprise 2.0 applications and content driven solutions.
• Duties include requirement review, architecture design, system design, code, unit testing and integration.
• Work closely with Quality Engineering to review test plans and test cases
• Work with an international team in various time zones
Required
• Strong experience with JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5, (some EXT JS highly preferred also)
• Working knowledge of data structures / databases / operating systems
• Working/developing complex Algorithms and Object Oriented Design
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired
• Experience with REST/Web Services or XML development
• Knowledge in Application Server/Web Server and J2EE
• Practical experience with Java, Eclipse and SWT
• Knowledge of GWT
• Demonstrated product experience with iOS, Android and/or mobile device development
• Experience with Maven and Spring
• Practical experience with Agile/Lean software development methodologies, design patterns and architectural patterns
