General Requirements:

• GR has several in-house applications that are built on the Microsoft .Net platform
• Main custom build applications are HR suite of products (Applicant Tracking Systems, On-boarding, Time and Attendance)
• Several other small to medium size .Net applications are part of the portfolio 
• Legacy applications have interface with several other platform/systems (POS, Payroll, etc)
• Seeking a skilled ASP.NET and C# developer to maintainand support the existing applications
• Support the minor modification/request to the web site
• General knowledge and experience with business information systems and infrastructure in Retail
• General understanding of the HR applications/systems in any platform is desired
• General knowledge and experience with business information system in a Retail environment

 

Skills and Experience:

• Four years of technical experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus)
• Three years of experience with .Net platform ASP.Net (2.0 or higher) and C#
• Three years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2005)
• Three years if experience with Visual Studio (2008)
• In depth understanding of SQL and store procedures are imperative
• General understanding of the HR applications/systems in any platform is desired
• Ability to create architectural diagram of the existing applications
• General knowledge and experience with business information systems and infrastructure in Retail

·         Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player

• Ability to set the strategy for the new direction of HR (hiring, application tracking, on-boarding, time and attendance applications) for Garden Ridge is preferred

·         Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area is preferred
• Microsoft certifications are a plus
