Business Analyst with testing XML based Web Services
Location: Rensselaer, NY
Duration: 24 Months Contract
Rate:$49 per/hr on c2c MAX
Please note that our client does allow Skype/remote interviews. However they reserve the right to require an in-person interview.
Daily duties include but are not limited to:
1. Perform data analysis, data mining, statistical and predictive analysis on large sets of data.
2. Develop SQL queries with joins, procedures, views and expressions to extract data.
3. Provide customized reports and data to business users.
4. Perform business metrics collection and data presentation to business users and senior management.
5. Query CCTA database and investigate data to find possible fraud, waste and abuse.
6. Monitor SOS data import and BICS payment reconciliation. Work with developers to resolve any data issues.
7. Work with business users for developing business requirements, analysis, documentation and validation.
8. Review New York Code Rules and Regulations for Child Care services and develop business requirements.
9. Perform functional analysis of business problems and document business logic implemented.
10. Document and analyze report, data and system functionality requests from 57 districts.
11. Review report requests and develop prototype reports.
12. Collaborate with business users on user interface and user experience needs.
13. Review and provide feedback for system functional design documents.
Candidates should have experience, and at least one of the following should apply:
Experience facilitating meeting with users to identify & gather business requirements
Experience testing XML based Web Services in complex systems, integration environment consisting of Web, Application and Database servers.
Experience in writing test plans & cases, validation of requirements against system, and reporting on finding to both technical and non-technical staff.
Strong SQL coding experience for writing SQL data queries for extraction and/or validation of application data.
Experience working with business user communities, technical teams and management to develop implement and maintain metrics, standards, policies, process and controls for testing.
Associates Degree. Proof of education is to be submitted for all responses.
