Job Title : AS 400 Developer 

Job Location: New York

Duration : 3 Months +

No. of Positions: 3

AS400 Tech lead JD -  3 positions

Job Description:

• Must have good Experience of Security Trading and Capital markets particularly from the Trade flow/lifecycle process  particularly good knowledge of Trade's front end processing perspective.
• Ideally must have 7-8 yrs. of good AS400 application development & Maintenance experience.
• Good Knowledge of RPG400/RPGLE , Should have hands on experience on RPGLE and its concepts like Procedures,  Service pgm, Binding Directory , Activation Group.
• Good Knowledge of CL400/CLLE,  Should have good Error handling Knowledge and about job Schedulers etc.
• Good Knowledge of DB2/400 and Relational Database concepts.
• Experience in SQL Query in terms of creating tables, Views,  Indexes, Joins or any SQL Stored Procedures etc. and embedded SQL usage.   
• Must have good Debugging Skills for both Interactive and Batch Programming.
• Experience in Free Format Programming .
• Experience in Preparation of Technical Design Document, Performing Unit & System testing , preparation of  Test Plans etc.
• Should be able to Provide Prompt support to address any Acceptance Testing or users.
• Should be Flexible to work as an independent contributor/lead developer in a project or working with  team
• Experience of any Change Management tool like Turnover or ALDON etc. will be added advantage.
• Experience of AGILE Methodology will be added advantage.
• Must have good communication skills and Should be in a position to deal with Client/User team efficiently.
• Should  have good knowledge about performance tuning, Query optimization and performance improvement.
• Should be able to technically coordinate with Client/user team  to ensure that desired solution is delivered from an end to end perspective
