Job Description:
Netsuite/OpenAir/One World Business Systems Analyst
· This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the integrity and optimization of the NetSuite and OpenAir and One World applications.
· The Analyst maintains a complete understanding of the business processes and integration goals of the Finance team and serves as a key point of contact for all Netsuite and OpenAir issues, both day to day and for longer term process improvement projects.
· The Analyst is responsible to maintain and expand upon configurations and customizations and to identify/execute business process efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a current knowledge of NetSuite and One World and OpenAir standard business process functionality as it applies to the use of the application by the company,
- Be the primary point of contact for each business group using these applications, for support and to translate business requirements.
- Provide front line support to the organization with regards to all aspects of NetSuite, One World and OpenAir functionality and related data integrity.
- Maintain the NetSuite, One World and OpenAir applications for departmental stakeholders
- Provide ongoing internal system support to all users, primarily finance & acctg but also Professional Services.
- Support end user requests for new searches, reports, KPI's, dashboards.
- Ensure ongoing alignment to functional and technical requirements, system configuration, data integrity and all system-related policies and procedures.
- Maintain proper system access for all roles.
- Monitor end-user usage of systems, tracking performance, maintaining system documentation.
- Ensure system compliance with Company policies, procedures and protocols for system standards, customizations and changes.
- Identify and develop process improvements and data validation rules to enforce Company data policies, procedures and efficiencies.
- Perform regular data audits and resolve issues thereby identified.
- Plan, review and revise configurations and customizations of NetSuite and OpenAir as needed to meet evolving needs of the business.
- Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, new functionality and SuiteApps based on evolving business needs.
- Provide ongoing training materials to ensure adoption and meet end-user training needs, and sometimes deliver training in conjunction with departmental stakeholders.
- Manage Release Preview business process testing for ongoing upgrades.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of NetSuite and OpenAir functionality, customization and integration.
Required Business Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Four-year college degree in relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance, MIS, IT business/computer science).
- 2 - 4 years' experience in business/process analyst roles, enterprise application support, project management, systems implementations, systems integrations
- Prior Netsuite experience is required; prior OpenAir and One World experience a benefit
- Experience with relational databases, SQL development, data integration and analysis preferred.
- Detailed understanding of software industry business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing) and Project Management. Experience with software revenue recognition desired
- Previous experience working in a SOX environment and communication with internal and external audit functions.
- Exposure to other Accounting, Sales Force Management and Marketing business practices such as Payroll, Expense Tracking, Multi-currency, Commissions, Returns, Team Selling.
- In addition to working with NetSuite, One World and OpenAir applications, previous experience integrating with SalesForce is also desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work creatively in problem solving environment.
- Ability to balance technical skills with business savvy – ability to transform end-user needs into technical and functional requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to form relationships both externally and internally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of and experience using JavaScript, HTML, XML, and SQL is desirable, but not required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio
