 5-7 years of experience for the Mobile BlackBerry Contingency effort . Will need to have experience with contingency planning or mobile technology, as well as basic PM knowledge and financial industry experience.




Role:

The Business Analyst would fill an important role within the function and have the opportunity to work closely with the business process owners, technology service providers and key stakeholders.  They would help evolve the standard procedures and help establish the tools to support the procedures.  Specially, the Business Analyst would:

 

·             Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements

·             Synthesize and translate business requirements into functional requirements

·             Document functional attributes of the tools as they evolve and maintain key artifacts such as the data dictionary, report specifications, workflows, and business process documentation

·             Liaise between the business owners and technology service providers to ensure successful translation and fulfillment of requirements

·             Develop UAT plans and test cases, conduct testing, and engage and assist UAT participants with testing

·             Assist end users with tool adoption, by authoring help documentation and conducting training sessions

·             Assist with definition and evolution of the tools support model

·             Provide application functional support to end users of the tools

·             Assist with Project Management tasks, such as meeting scheduling, organization, notes and other project related artifacts

·             Assist with researching similar tools on the market and those used in-house to help define the tools strategy

 

 

Skills and Expertise:

 

Required

 

·         2-4  years of business analysis experience including requirement gathering and analysis

·         Experience gathering and synthesizing business requirements and creating functional specifications

·         Experience gathering and defining reporting requirements

·         Excellent written and oral communications skills

·         Excellent problem solving skills

 

·         Experience with typical industry standard processes and templates for requirement documentation (e.g., wireframes, prioritization methods)

·         Project / software development life cycle knowledge and experience (PLC / SDLC, Waterfall, Agile)

·         Data analysis experience   

·         Ability to collaborate and build consensus

·         Ability to work independently as well as part of team

·         Attention to detail

·         Experience as a team member on a team facilitating business process design and support tools

·         Exceptional MS Excel skills

·         Good MS PowerPoint, Visio,  and MS Project skills

·         Basic database modeling knowledge
