Job Description:

This position may require the candidate to drive to the various tri- state sites periodically during the month to attend meetings. This program is global in nature and crosses all divisions at Client. Candidate will be required to attend and/or facilitate meetings outside of core business hours (9-5). Candidate will be managing multiple projects within a work stream and be working in a highly complex matrixed team with aggressive timelines. Required Project Manager Skill Sets: Significant prior experience (10 years) as a project manager in a large, matrixed environment, pharmaceutical and GxP experience is a plus. Prior experience leading large complex projects with formal governance and processes with strong preference to global experience; Prior experience with external vendor relationship management is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Project Professional and be able to manage the following within the tool: Create and manage resource plans; Project plans; Financial projections; Manage issues and risks ; Proven ability to execute and drive deliverables to achieve the project outcomes. Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communications. Must be able to manage a diverse team where some team members are virtual. Able to manage conflict and drive team to a solution. Prior experience and/or training with formal process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma is a plus. Prior experience using a formal Change Execution Management process is a plus. PMP Certification, required.

Job Description:

Experience with PM'ing software as a service (SaaS) projects.  Compliance project manager experience  Experience with Merck IT SDLC, MSPS, etc.I15.
