Role: Automation Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 6 Months Contract

 

Rate: Competitive

Must Have:

 

·         3+ years' development experience with Visual Studio 2010 or 2012 with emphasis on C#

·         2+ years' Coded UI Tests

·         2+ years' Web Performance Tests

·         2+ years' experience developing automation and performance testing frameworks in .NET Framework

·         2+ QA Methodologies (SDLC) software / defect life cycle

·         2+ years' knowledge and experience with SQL Server 2008

·         Experience using  TFS Source Control

Required Skills & Experience: 

·         Must pass criminal background check prior to start 

·         Strong development (SDE or SDE/T) background on large projects on collaborative teams

·         Development experience; 3+ years software development experience in Microsoft Visual Studio

·         Strong theory/algorithm background and very good understanding on how to apply advanced knowledge to solve real problems.

·         Ability to work independently and within a team to research and validate innovative solutions to challenging business/technical problems

·         Knowledge and experience in Automation and Performance testing frameworks

·         Experience in functional and performance automation with Visual Studio test tools

·         Extensive software Test design and development skills experience using Coded UI tests, Web Performance tests, etc.

·         Experience in using Team Foundation Server (TFS) and solution development life cycles (SDLC) and workflows

·         Testing Mainframe applications

·         Experience using and integrating Fiddler test scenarios into Visual Studio

·         Understanding and knowledge of Testing web applications and network protocols

·         Performance testing dealing with data mining

·         Test environment management [IIS configuration and SQL administration]
