looking for administrators of the tool who can:

Perform software license compliance activities for the acquired entities

Assist management in preparing for a software compliance audit

Enter and maintain information in a database format (HP CMDB) to address the life cycle of an IT software asset

Manually create or modify IT software asset records and associated contract records in appropriate repository

Create new asset models as needed in the asset management tool (HPAM)

Create new asset records using appropriate model, contract, PO and Portfolio Items, and record and maintain asset-related data attributes and contractual details

Create and modify software counters for software titles

Research upgrade and downgrade parameters that impact Right to Use (RTU) when creating or modifying software title counters

Skills:

HP Asset Manager 9 - General experience with supporting and administering the tool.  An individual or individuals who have actually implemented the solution from cradle to grave would be of great benefit.

Software Asset Management - We are looking to build upon the current set of license counters (currently have a handful of titles for 5 publishers) and looking to ensure our solution is designed to scale.

ConnectIt - Anyone with AM experience should hopefully have knowledge of ConnectIt and how the scenarios facilitate the movement of data from the discovery component (DDMi or Universal Discovery) in to Asset Manager.

DDMi / Universal Discovery -   Over the course of the next year, we will be upgrading from DDMi to Universal Discovery, so an individual with this experience would be great, but not required.

DDMi and ConnectIT are nice, but the real key is just actual administering the Asset Manager.
