Job Description:

About the Job:

·         We are a leading worldwide provider of Cloud based extended enterprise collaboration solutions. 

·         Our products are used by 800 of the Fortune 1000 as well as many international companies.  

·         This position reports to the Release Engineering Director and will be responsible for providing system support for the QC lab.

 

About the Team

·         The Release Engineering Team is chartered with creating builds, deploying builds, administering Software Development tools and providing support for environments.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for ongoing management and maintenance of the QC Automation lab, including:

o   VMware assets

o   Windows assets

o   UNIX assets

·         Perform necessary system maintenance in accordance with company change management policies.

·         Ability to troubleshoot complex issues

·         Recommend changes to procedures which result in operational optimization

·         Participate in Root Cause Analysis reviews when applicable

·         Document existing lab infrastructure

 

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Education - BS in IS or related field
• Experience in a SaaS environment
• Strong experience with Windows VM hosted on VMware ESX
• Experience with Horizon View
• Experience with Windows Administration (virus scanning, DHCP, etc.)
• Knowledge with mail servers (Zimbra)
• Knowledge of the Solaris Operating System
• Knowledge of Oracle virtualization techniques including LDOMs and Zones
• Strong experience with Linux
• Good scripting and automation techniques
• Good understanding of network components
• ZFS, NFS, RSYNC, DNS
• Strong communication skills are required
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

 

Desired Qualifications

·         Knowledge of Oracle OEM OpsCenter

·         Knowledge of Oracle OVM

·         Knowledge of Oracle UFS Storage devices

·         Experience with Icinga (Nagios) and Manage Engine

·         Experience with working in a hosted environment a plus
