I have an opening for a Java Lead in Alpharetta, GA. This is a long-term contract, but the client prefers candidates who are local to the Atlanta/Alpharetta area and they must have lead experience.

 

Title:                      Java/JEE Programmer/Analyst 

Location:              Alpharetta, GA

Duration:              12+ Months

 

 

Description:

 

·         Coordinate other developers’ activities

·         Work with business unit personnel to solicit and refine requirements

·         Must have excellent communication skills

·         Must have excellent problem solving skills

 

Environment:

 

·         The development tooling is IBM Rational Business Developer and IBM Rational Application Developer.

·         Working on IBM Rational Development Platform

·         EGL language, uses Java faces and pages and when deployed generates Java code

·         Fast-paced financial services environment

 

Candidate Qualifications:

 

·         7+ years of experience of Java/ JEE development

·         JSP

·         HTML/CSS/JavaScript

·         Java Web Services

·         SQL (DB2 a plus)

·         Eclipse IDE

·         Bachelor’s degree

 

Nice to Haves:

·         WebSphere

·         Dojo

·         Red Hat Linux

·         Mac OS

·         JSF

·         IBM RTC

 

Looking For:

 

·         Need candidates who take the requirements and see them through

·         Understands the big picture and end goal

·         Need someone who is a strong communicator and doesn’t need too much “hand-holding” once they get ramped up on EGL and the project
