Position: Linux Admin

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 4 months

 

Must Have

·        Bachelor’s degree

·        In-depth knowledge of Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and multi-tier application production

·        operations.

·        Experience with Linux performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and security hardening.

·        Strong knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, PHP, Java, SMTP, DHCP, DNS, NIS, LDAP, CIFS, NFS, Postfix, BIND, SNMP, load balancers, and Linux system security.

·        Strong scripting (Shell, PHP, or Perl) skills a must.

·        System monitoring

·        Demonstrated strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

·        Worked in Data Center Modernization project in the past.

·        Strong exposure in installation/ configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure in development, QA and production environments across offices and data centers

·        Good to have

·        Experience in kernel programming, performance optimization
