| Position Responsibilities: |
| · Manage the data design, collection, retrieval and analysis of critical clinical data. · Act as internal consultant to business units to provide assistance regarding the development of analytical models as per requirement. · Perform statistical programming utilizing a variety of statistical software packages to summarize data and create reports and/or visual presentations as per requirement. · Offer advice and counsel clients in determining the appropriate analytical methodology to meet their needs and achieve their objectives. · Negotiate priorities and resolve requirement conflicts among various stakeholders. · Follow standards, procedures, and guidelines for abbreviations, acronyms, class words and naming standards. · Communicate with a wide variety of technical and business experts in both individual and group settings using email and presentations. · Conduct data analytics sessions with business users and technical staff, which includes conveying complex ideas both verbally and in written form. · Conduct technical interviews in the Information Technology environment. · Gather, assimilate, organize, categorize and analyze business requirements to create corresponding data analytics and statistics. · Assist Business Subject Matter Experts and data stewards to review and "scrub" their data in a timely manner and perform data audits, as necessary. · Assist in creation of document data flow diagrams and other project deliverables, as requested. · Assist project team with trouble-shooting of "data issues" as they arise during testing cycles. |
| Qualifications: |
| · 8+ years demonstrated analyst experience using analytical and statistical and data management tools, technical product life cycle concepts and requirements engineering) is required. · Experience in the gathering, assimilation, organization, categorization and analysis of business requirements to create corresponding data analytics. · Data Analyst experience with a strong emphasis on the data design, collection, retrieval and analysis of critical clinical data. · Demonstrated experience in the gathering, assimilation, organization, categorization and analysis of business requirements to create corresponding data analytical methodology and models is required. Such tasks may include client interviews and/or facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. |
| Data Analyst Skills: |
| · Ability to conduct data Analysis sessions with business users and technical staff, which includes conveying complex ideas both verbally and in written form. · Ability to understand database management system administration with regard to performance and configuration. · In addition to standard data analyst duties, ability to lead effort to ensure system test data is loaded accurately and in timely manner. |
| Technical Business Analyst Skills: |
| · Technical interviewing skills in the Information Technology environment. · Communication skills including facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution · Experience in the gathering, assimilation, organization, categorization and analysis of business requirements to create corresponding data analytics. |
| Generic Managerial Skills |
| · Resource should be quick learner and self-driven; capable of meeting with Business Users and working cross-functionally to define requirements, configure and deploy solutions · Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively to meet defined delivery levels in a customer facing role. |
