This position will work within the DTD (Digital Technology and Delivery) group to develop and implement E-Business initiatives and technical projects. Candidate must be able to translate business needs into effective technical solutions using Adobe CQ5. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of web content management systems that support the company's business objectives. Work independently or be part of a team that builds and integrates interactive web sites, applications, and services for both internal and external customers. Must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions.
Required Skills:
· Hands on experience in building and deploying enterprise level Web Content Management solutions on Adobe CQ 5.5 or above.
· Very Good knowledge of Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework is required.
· Solid experience with CQ5 building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets and bundles.
· Experience in front-end web development using jQuery, ExtJS frameworks.
· Experience in design and development of workflows including the implementation of custom workflows steps with participant choosers and emails.
· Experience on Adobe CQ 5.x integration with ecommerce is a plus.
· Hands-on working on frameworks such as Spring Mode/View/Controller (MVC), Spring Web Service.
· Must have experience with J2EE architectures, design patterns, complete application development lifecycle of J2EE, EJB, JMS, JSP, and Java Servlets;
· Experience with distributed version control systems such as GIT or Mercurial is desirable.
· Experience working in Agile development environment would be a plus.
· Hands on work experience with Hybris, Endeca search engine would be a plus.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to communicate effectively with managers, business analysts, web engineers, architects and other technical departments
· Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with a solid understanding of diverse environments and components - Unix, Windows, database, networks, etc
· Be highly motivated to troubleshoot issues and adopt new technologies.
Desired Experience:
· Bachelors Degree
· 3+ years of web application development using Java and web technologies
Responsibilities/Expected Deliverables:
· Delivery of complex web applications on schedule with high reliability and scalability
· Produce high quality code, test all delivered work and create solid documentation
· Work closely with project managers, development managers, business analysts, and architects to design, develop, unit test, debug and maintain web applications, web services and other related features based on functional requirements and scope of work
· Contribute and confirm to DTD adopted software development standards
· Participate in production deployment and provide assistance to the production support group as needed.
· Participate in performance tuning of web applications
