Position - Asp.Net Developer

Location – Mankato,  MN

Duration – 3+ Months

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Key Responsibilities and Key Attributes:

Candidates will be expected to code primarily in C#, ASP.NET and JavaScript along with heavy use of SQL and XML.  

They will also update and maintain existing C# and data query routines when called upon.

Selected individual will help analyze, design, code, test, debug and provide enhancements to both new and existing web-based platforms.

Must be able to work alone or in a team as a developer on multiple projects supporting day-to-day business processes/requests.   

Must also have the ability to work with business analysts and various business process owners to consult regarding specifications/requirements/recommendations for projects.  

Certain projects require interfacing directly with external Client IT and Business Groups.

Being self-directed and architecturally innovative while recognizing real world limitations is critical to success in this position.

Specific Required Skills and Experience

•             Strong understanding of C#, application architecture and object-oriented design

•             Strong understanding of .NET 4.0 and the Microsoft technology platform

•             Strong understanding of  ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms development

•             Strong understanding of MS SQL Server

•             Strong working knowledge of SQL database design and information architecture with web application integration

•             Knowledge and advocate of best practices (standard naming conventions, architecture)

Educational Requirements

•             Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 4 years web development experience

•             Minimum two (2) years working experience with Microsoft .Net (ASP.NET, C# and/or VB.NET).

•             Minimum two (2) years working experience with SQL Server or other advanced level databases
