We are looking for an Hyperion Essbase Consultant to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is a 6 months Contract extendible Position based in Santa Clara(CA).

Skill Set

 

Pre-requisites

·         Working experience in  design and development  of  EPM applications

 

Technology and Process

 

·         Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion EPM suite

·         Experience in automation of data loads API, Backup & recovery

·         Experience in Business Rules/ calculation scripts, MAXL and MDX scripts

·         Experience  in writing   custom currency conversion scripts   for Hyperion Planning

·         Experience  in writing   driver based allocation business rules   for Hyperion Planning

·         Experience in EPM application optimization (Outline, Business Rules/Calc Scripts)

·         Knowledge on EPM ETL tools like FDQM and ODI

·         Experience on Hyperion security, Hyperion Shared services, LCM utility, migration process etc.

·         Good knowledge on Essbase.

 

Behavioral skills required

 

·         Proven analytical and problem solving skills

·         Ability to mentor and lead a team

·         Ability to work under minimal supervision

·         Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills

 

 

Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role

·         Design and development  of Custom Currency scripts

·         Design development  of driver based allocation rules

·         Design and development  of Balance Sheet and Cash flow  forecast

·         Optimization of Business Rules

·         Security Provisioning using Hyperion shared services

·         Support and Enhancement  activities in line with architecture requirements

·         Working with Business Users to gather and document business/data requirements for new reports, as well as any changes or enhancements to existing reports, dashboards, ad-hoc query tools, Hyperion cubes, etc.
