Position: Erwin Data Modeler

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Need 10+Years profiles

 

 

 

Our healthcare client is looking for a senior level resource- The ideal candidate had 10+ years of data modeling, programming, and/or systems integration experience including:

 

Position is for a Senior Physical Data Modeler with proven physical data modeling skills on Oracle/ SQL Server who can communicate effectively with Logical Data Modelers, DBA's and Application Development Team. Candidate should demonstrate superior knowledge of Oracle/SQL server/Teradata Database Structures that will enable the teams to design and create optimized database design patterns. Applicant will be part of the IT Strategy & Architecture Team and will be responsible for the design and instantiation of the physical data model.

 

Top 3-5 must have skills:

•             Three to five years demonstrated experience using two or more modeling tools: Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, CA Erwin Data Modeler, Embarcadero E/R Studio, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler (SDDM), or equivalent tool

•             Five or more years of demonstrated expert proficiency with technical data modeling techniques: 3NF (and higher) entity-relationship (E/R) modeling, Kimball-style dimensional modeling, object-oriented design

•             Five or more years demonstrated experience with implementing complex data architectures

•             Three years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies

Preferred:

Proficiency with Erwin Data Modeler

Proficiency with Kimball-style dimensional modeling

Proficiency with data profiling tool(s)

Prior experience as a data modeler in a large academic healthcare institution supporting large diverse user communities working across business domains to provide complex composite, dimensional, and/or master data management

Prior experience in clinical or medical informatics

Prior experience as a data modeling instructor

Prior experience with IBMs healthcare model

Expert proficiency with SQL
