We are looking for an SAP SD with VC--Principal Consultant to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is a Contract extendible Position based in Houston, TX
Role: SAP SD with VC--Principal Consultant
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Contract
Minimum experience : 10+ hand on experience in ECC SD with VC and integration with other modules
Internal mapping : Principal Consultant
Detailed Job requirements:
· Implement the requirements for configurable products into SAP VC models.
· Assists clients Engineering and Manufacturing teams with defining engineering and business rules for configurable products as part of the
· Creation and optimization of SAP Variant Configuration objects including: - Bill of Materials and Super BOMs - Routings and Super Routings - Material Masters - Object Dependencies.
· Works closely with client's Engineering and Manufacturing team members to understand, interpret, SAP VC development process
· Evaluates Engineering Change Requests and Orders (ECR/ECO) to determine impact and work effort needs to change SAP VC models
· Create master data related to SAP VC models including BOMs, Routings, classes, characteristics, object dependencies (preconditions, procedures, selection conditions, and constraints), variant tables, and variant conditions for pricing and purchasing
· Work with SAP and IT leads on process and functionality changes related to improving and expanding SAP VC processes
· Participates in the requirements gathering, design, development, configuration, testing, and documentation of new and updated business processes as it relates to SAP VC processes
· Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard SAP VC techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications of the standard SAP VC practices to complete new product design and product line extension projects
· Integration knowledge with SAP-APO ( DP and SNP) in SAP VC environment
· Experience in Billing and Pricing and Product costing with SAP Variant Config
· Hand on IPC configuration and execution
