Rate $60 per hour on Corp 2Corp.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 + years related experience.
Demonstrated ability to handle and manage large data volumes
Create Logical and Physical Data Models to support various BI reporting and analytics applications.
Data modeling techniques, standards and tools (e.g., ER/Studio)
Proficient in the query language of the database, such as SQL
Knowledge of relational theory, data warehousing designs, and current industry standards
Ability to perform complex analysis to validate a problem or request, identify possible actions, assess the impact of those actions on data assets, and work with the appropriate person to take action
Knowledge of ETL best practices and tools (e.g., Informatica)
Knowledge of data profiling tools (e.g., Dataflux)
Ability to perform root cause analysis
Established Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, and Access)
Be familiar with techniques and technology for managing very large database/data warehouses including indexes, materialized views, statistics, compression, partitioning etc.
Provide design and build specifications for Extraction, Transformations, and Loading (ETL).
Design and build BI reports and queries using all applicable tools, as required.
