Position: ArcGIS Consultant

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6 months

 

ArcGIS suite of products brings together maps, apps, data, and people to make smarter decisions and enable innovation in an organization.

 

Experience & Skills Desired:

·        Knowledge of GIS technologies including knowledge on Esri Suite of Products – ArcGIS Desktop, ArcSDE Administration, ArcGIS Server configuration & Python Scripts (Experience - more than 5 years)

·        Strong GIS skills and GIS concepts (map provider, latitude/longitude, projections, coordinate systems) (Experience - more than 5 years)

·        Familiarize with Oracle installation and configuration. (Experience - 3 years)

·        Experience in python scripting and batch scripts. (Experience - more than 3 years)

·        Experience in running geoprocessing tools (Experience - more than 3 years)

·        Previous experience in technical customer service or software support with direct end-user contact(Experience - more than 5 years)

·        Excellent troubleshooting, customer service, analytical and problem-solving abilities

·        Ability to patiently communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely
