Job: SAP APO or Supply Network Planner ( APO )
Location-Akron, Ohio
10 month contract
Reporting to the IT Team Leader, NAT SAP Supply and Production Planning, the Senior APO Consultant combines expertise in Supply Chain Planning processes with vast knowledge of SAP APO modules including Supply Network Planning (SNP), Production Planning & Detail Scheduling (PP/DS, Core Interface (CIF), SAP Materials Management and SAP Production Planning functionality to provide competitive solutions to North American Tire supply planning and capacity management challenges. The Senior APO Consultant/Architect will interact with divisional management at the Department, Director and Vice President levels; making recommendations that can change the face of our company to the external customer.'
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. Masters degree a plus.
3+ yrs experience in SAP APO configuration experience, including DP, PP/DS, SNP and CIF.
2+ yrs experience in SAP PP configuration (Min 4.7C - ECC 6.0 preferred)
A minimum of 2 Full Project Lifecycle implementations
Proficient in creating functional specs related to user exits, enhancement points, reports transactions, custom objects, interfaces and conversions.
Associate must possess the necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal.
Associate may lead or direct the work of other team members and often report to the Project Lead, Team Lead or Manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Have a strong and thorough understanding of SAP's APO Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), Demand Planning (DP), and Supply Network Planning (SNP), the associated business processes, and how APO is integrated with MM and PP in order to support configuration of modules..
Specific knowledge of the current Office product suite.
Good presentation, meeting leadership and facilitation skills.
Fluent in English
Some travel may be required
Tasks:
Analyze business/technical opportunities and translate process into practice using SAP. Project involvement is multi-disciplinary and complex in scope. Proactively identify enhancements that will meet changing business/technical needs.
Develop strategic processes and direction for projects. Plan/manage integration and implementation of new technology or business process.
Coordinate all varieties of testing necessary to provide for complete cross-functional integration and business acceptance.
Troubleshoot unique or complex business problems. Sought as a resource for expert SAP knowledge. Totally capable, fully self-sufficient. Able to recommend appropriate corrective action of workaround.
Create, track and manage project work plans, including resource commitments. Deliver on time and under budget.
Coach other team members in techniques to collect, interpret and present data in ways that facilitate decision-making. Provides excellent knowledge transfer of SAP skills to other junior level Business Processor team members.
Prepare and present reporting results on current initiatives to upper management.
