Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem - HDFS, MapReduce, Pig/Hive, Hbase, Skala

• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux, Ruby, Python, Perl or other scripting languages.

• Development knowledge of J2EE and design patterns in a distributed, multi-platform, heterogeneous computing environment.

• Strong understanding of Software development life cycle

• Strong understanding of Information architecture models

• Good understanding about database structure and networking

• Good understanding of technologies and client business

• Strong understanding about design models and patterns

• Strong critical thinking to analyze and solve problems with significant information

• Strong creative thinking to deal with imperfect information and ambiguity

• Strong relationship management skills

• Strong Team work skills & Time management skills • Strong negotiation skills •

Strong judgment and decision making skills

• Excellent presentation skills to present the solution design to customer and other stakeholders convincingly

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to facilitate discussion, drive consensus, and build partnership
