| Job Title | SQA Analyst-Data Warehouse Tester |

| · Performs data validation of ETL processes · Verifies data types, schema changes, record counts and data integrity · Verifies customer and exception reporting produced from the ETL processes • Verifies data with regard to business and transformation Rules · Analyzes functional requirements for initiatives that are projected to return business value and identify potential risks and issues · Develops test approach, plan, and determines dependencies. · Leads the development of test cases and scripts used to verify ETL · Completes performance analysis to determine query response and data load times · Identifies gaps in the current state and provides recommendations for process maturity in the assigned functional area · Raises data quality and performance levels in the Data Services team · Works closely with business stakeholders and developers to guarantee expectations and requirements are understood · Communicates results to IT and key stakeholders |
| Required Skills | · 5+ years of advanced SQL skills to write queries & view/test data in relational database and DataWarehouse environments · Experience with ETL processes · Experience using ETL tools like SSMS, SSIS, BIDS · Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills to present findings and recommendations · Self-motivated and can work with minimal oversight · Detail oriented, have strong problem-solving skills and understand benefits of data quality · Knowledge of healthcare data and industry is desired · Experience in converting mapping documents and transformation requirements into a testing strategy, test cases, and the test data required · Experience with creating QA checks to test data integration and data transformation required |
