ASP .Net Applications Developer
Job duration: 1 year contract most likely with extensions
Location: Portland, OR

Individual needs to provide on-call support as required.
Worker will need to be able to fully navigate the environment within the first week. 5-7 years of relevant experience is required with full deployment process experience. C shop, ASP.NET, Bootstrap framework, jQuery. JQwidget and UI development experience is nice to have. Worker will have visibility and high exposure. Must be comfortable with executives stopping to discuss processes and project details. This can be an intense environment with specific timeline requirements. Must be flexible with daily tasks and be able to take initiative. Must be self-directed. Communication abilities must be excellent.
Job Functions:
* Design and develop Open Systems WEB-based applications using .NET, SQL and other tools as needed.
* Work with a team of BSA's, designers and developers.
* Estimate effort to complete an assigned task.
* Document use cases, test results and closely interact with other developers and QA.
* Troubleshoot application problems and propose optimal resolutions.
* A proven ability to understand technical specifications.
* Ability to analyze and document business and system processes is required.
* A proven ability to multitask and handle ambiguity is required.
* Experience in writing Use Cases/User Stories is preferred.
* Work within a team environment
* Technical proficiency in relevant operating systems, applications and languages is preferred.
* Expert in SQL.
* Experience in database design.
* .NET web application development experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
* Understand IT processes and work within designated guidelines
* Exposure to UML, J2EE, Mainframe or Data Warehousing tools desired but not required.
* Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
* Databases- MS SQL, DB2, Oracle
* Mainframe and web-based architectures
This would be a plus not required:
• Experience integrating mainframe processes with web systems.
