Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Job description: 
This role requires understanding of architectures that use combination of C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Restful services. 

The individual must be experienced in the following: 
• With close to 10 years of experience – must be hands-on. 
• Experience in .NET, OOP, OOD, Design Patterns. 
• Experience in ASP.Net MVC / Web API 
• Experience in WCF services and REST Services. 
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum Development Methodology. 
• Must be hands-on in software development, code reviews, unit testing. 
• Must be able to grasp key technology areas with short/steep learning curve. 
• Should be well versed with TDD (Test Driven Development), using NUnit or MSTest 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

Optional skills:
• Experience in writing SQL Stored Procedures and queries (SQL Server T-SQL) is a plus 
• Experience with Source Control tools like GIT, TFS is a plus 
• Financial Services/Capital Markets experience is a plus 
• Experienced in Angular is a plus, but a working knowledge is highly desired.
