Title: Web Methods Developer
Location: Columbus, OH
Length: 8 Months
Responsible for application development within the web Methods environment including unit and performance testing.
Follows all established IT Processes (ADM, ePMO, ITIL, SOX, etc)
Involved in project definition and provides input to detailed requirements and high-level technical design documents, and works with developers and business analysts to manage design integrity and overall quality throughout the project / application life cycle
Works with Business Analysts to make sure all appropriate requirements are accounting for in support of a project
Has an understanding of the business/process area as well as knowing and understanding how to work with other IT and business groups to accomplish goals
Works with other application areas to understand best how to develop integrated solutions
Necessary Skills:
3-4 essential skills
Including what technologies they will be working with,
Number of years of experience working with specific technologies/skillset
5+ years of web Methods experience
5+ years experience in design, development, and implementation of complex B2B and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions in web Methods
Hands-on technical experience with webMethods technologies – Integration Server, Trading Networks, Designer, Broker, etc, including architecture, deployment, support and administration. Versions 7/8/9.x required
Solid knowledge of ESB and SOA architecture and concepts and solid knowledge or Web Services and XML
Strong knowledge of EDI, both ANSI and EDIFACT and transaction sets
8 years Java development experience
Solid knowledge of and experience with *NIX environments, including shell scripting
Solid knowledge of and experience with major RDBMS platforms (SQLServer, Oracle, etc)
Preferred Skills:
2-3 skills that would help this candidate excel in the role
Degrees or certifications required
Soft skills such as "team player" "collaborative mentality" etc.
Experience along with a strong passion for Agile/Scrum concepts a plus
Experience working in an ITIL environment
Experience with SOX compliance
