Title: Oracle Database Administrator 

Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension

Location: Plano, TX

Interview Process: Phone Screen/Face to Face

Need Only Local to TX.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Five (5) or more years of experience with Oracle Database Administration, including:

Three (3) or more years of experience administrating Oracle 11g Release 2 or later database environments

Two (2) or more years of experience with Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c

Two (2) or more years of experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)

One (1) or more years of experience supporting Oracle 11g database environment running on IBM AIX 7.1 (64-bit)

Three (3) or more years of experience administering Oracle GoldenGate (11g Release 2 or later) with at least one (1) year of experience specific to Oracle GoldenGate 12c, including:

Installation and configuration of Oracle GoldenGate 11g or later

Oracle source and target replication setup and administration

Skills in all steps of GoldenGate replication: Capture, Route, Transform, and Deliver

Three (3) or more years of experience with deployment of Oracle database and application patches; Will accept one (1) or more years for experience specific to Oracle Financial Services Lending and Leasing (OFSLL) application.

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability and willingness to demonstrate skills through participation in brief skills testing session (30 minutes or less) prior to any official engagement.

Bring a high level of knowledge and skill to the team for both Oracle database and GoldenGate operations and tuning. Candidate cannot merely supplement existing skills within the team.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Current Oracle Certification – OCA, OCP, OCM.

Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Financial Services Lending and Leasing (OFSLL) application and database environment.

Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting WebLogic application servers.

Experience with DB2 UDB or Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience with data management in a financial environment.

Experience in a highly-regulated environment.

Experience with Service Request Management using ServiceNow SaaS solution.

ITIL Foundation 2011 Certification
