Job Description:
THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY:
Mandatory Skill/Expertise

The candidate must have a minimum of at least 5 years testing experience. Experience leading a testing team will be a plus. |
|
|
|
The candidate must have strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including ASP.NET.
|
|
|
|
Demonstrable strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Server 2008 and 2014 |
|
|
|
Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Test Professional and Test Load Agent |
|
|
|
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a solid customer service orientation are essential. (Sample written documentation prepared by the candidate including test plans should be provided with the resume). |
|
|
|
Strong capacity for logical thinking, with the ability to understand complex applications, must be a creative problem solver. |
|
|
|
Naturally bright; ability to consistently deliver top-level results in a team environment.
|
|
|
|
BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required |
|
|
|
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment |
|
|
|
Responsibilities will include:
1. Develop a comprehensive QA project plan that takes into account all required work, constituencies and resources.
2. Create comprehensive testing plans for functional testing and load testing of planned system enchantments.
3. Design, implement, document, and maintain test scripts and test tools used to perform unit tests, regression tests, and load tests, based on the selected tools.
4. Execute upon testing plans by performing white-box and black-box testing of the .NET application and SQL-based stored procedures
5. Through the execution of test plans, identify and document system issues and bugs
6. Meet regularly with the project manager, project sponsors, and Technology Unit staff to communicate progress, issues, and next steps.
