Senior SQL Development DBA needed in Kansas City, MO

Client: Kansas City Southern

long term contract.

Interview: Video

Visa: NO H1B

Notes from the manager:

• Excellent written and verbal communication is a must.  This is a small team so critical thinking skills and ownership are important
• This role is a DBA role that will be concentrating on Source Control and overseeing the SQL code put in the system by the SQL Developers
• Source control background is needed (TFS, Git, or Subversion) - does not need a certain tool experience but needs to have a strong understanding of Source control best practices like Branching Strategy
• This is a small team of experienced DBA's - 4 people total.  They need someone to concentrate on the source control for the team.  Train, setup process and best practices, and manage it.  
• This is not a SQL Development role but a Development DBA
• Need experience working on Visual Studio Database Projects
• Previous experience working on a Deployment team or Source control team is a plus
• Experience working with Red Gate Projects is a plus
