Title: Lead AWS Consultant
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Length: 6 Months
1 Consultant for EC2 EKS and container support.
Migrating our current container application to AWS.
Includes looking at costs, best approach for performance, and overall standards.
Must have: Extensive experience in architecting and building Kubernetes clusters at scale and building docker container images. AWS EKS experience is a must. Experience in migrating monolithic applications to Kubernetes(AWS EKS) including application discovery
Must have experience on Kubernetes & will be fine even if he/she has no experience on AWS EKS or Aurora.
Job Description :
Kubernetes certified Administrator(CKA) is preferred
Experience in migrating monolithic applications to Kubernetes(AWS EKS) including application discovery
Experience with AWS Aurora/RDS/VPC/EFS/EKS
Perform capacity planning for AWS EKS
Design and build AWS EKS infrastructure
Plan and design AWS Aurora architecture to host databases
Plan and design shared file storage architecture on AWS Elastic File System (EFS) to host shared files
Design and implement service discovery on EKS (Kubernetes)
Design and build the container registry for storing container images
Design and implement Ingress controller for application load balancing (path/host)
Design and implement container security architecture
Define container rollouts and roll backs plans
Design container log management architecture
Design service health monitoring and alerting architecture
Create documented process to build Docker container images for Drupal/nginx and MySQL
Create implementation plan for building EKS, Aurora and EFS
