*Description:*

 Provide technical leadership around automation approach, tools, languages
to effectively solve
business problem using automation
 Effectively understand the business problem or opportunity and have the
ability to translate
them into technical requirements
 Design a solution based on the technical requirements leveraging the
tools available in line with
the overall automation strategy
 Expert level ability to develop, test and release the new solution and
ensure the technical and
business requirements are being met
 Responsible for supporting the users of any infrastructure that is
developed
 Responsible for architect, design, and Implement technical solutions
 Provide guidance to team members
 Responsible for project plans, work break down and progress tracking
 Responsible for influencing the strategies of peer organizations ensuring
that their strategic
automation plans are in alignment with the technical direction of Network
Operations and/or
Strategy and Architecture.

*Responsibilities:*

 10+ years in either a large IT shared services organization or telecom
service provider
environment
 5+ years of working in DevOps role supporting infrastructure
 Knowledge of one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP)

 Strong hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment
tools such as –
Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform etc.
 Strong expertise in programming / scripting with Python, shell, Ruby,
Perl, etc.
 Experience with source control management like Git, SVN, Bitbucket
 Strong proficiency with YAML
 Hands-on software development and operation of Build, Continuous
Integration and Continuous
Deployment
 Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Kubernetes, Jenkins, or Docker
 Strong proficiency in leveraging Rest API's to work on custom solutions
that require information
from multiple sources
 Advanced Linux admin experience
 Good experience on Networking Technologies like Load Balancer, ACL,
Firewall, VIP, DNS
 Experience setting up real/virtual build and unit test lab environments
(VM, appliance, network)
 Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment,
cross-site and cross-time

*Preferred : * Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field is
preferred
