Role: Scrum Master for Cloud Migration
Location: Glendale CA or Frisco TX
Duration: 6Months
 
Job Description:
 
The Agile Scrum Master should be a seasoned professional who is well versed with Scrum methodology of software development.
 This individual is expected to drive delivery forward with optimal team velocity and ensuring the roadblocks faced by the team are cleared on a regular basis by following appropriate Scrum ceremonies. 
Timely removal of impediments and ability to navigate teams located in different geographical location working flexible hours is necessary. 
Scrum Master is responsible for producing weekly burn down charts, project updates and up to prompt communication to IT management staff. Knowledge on application rewrite or migration from Delphi/Visual FoxPro to Azure Cloud are an added advantage. 
Expected to work with flexible schedule / time zone to accommodate various project stake holders geographically distributed. 
 
Skills & Experience:
 
• A natural self-starter, motivated and passionate about technology and customer success 
• Strong process thinking and ability to synthesize thoughts into a presentable manner 
• Advanced experience with application migration from legacy application like Delphi or Access or Visual FoxPro to Azure cloud
 • 12+ years of professional experience 
• Experience and comfortable working with onsite business teams • Demonstrated ability to lead client interactions and communications
 • Agile development experience 
• Ability to problem solve creatively and learn quickly and to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs and best practices 
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
 • Strong experience in interacting with client and owning delivery in an offshore model.
 • Strong written and oral communication skills are required
 • Experience with enterprise integration and best practices 
• Experience with application migration & implementations 
• Experience scaling complex solutions 
 
Education:
 
 B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent with 12 plus years of overall experience or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent with 10 plus years of overall experience 
(1.) Co-ordination with On-Site Engineers and attending customer calls
(2.) Raising risks| issues and escalation to senior management and customer (3.) To create all quality documents| collect metrics data and conducting Audits. To perform Value creation and KM activities. 
(4.) To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards
(5.) To ensure process improvement and compliance| and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents
